We enjoy worship.
At the heart of things, our life centers on our worship of God.
Guided by the Book of Common Prayer, we celebrate life in song,
color, dance and special liturgies.
We believe strongly that liturgy is not something to be copied
from the past, but offered from the present.
As an Episcopal Church, we benefit from centuries of development
in forms of worship. However,
we are comfortable with emerging forms such as Taize, the Prayer Book of
Australia, New Zealand, and even ad hoc services to respond to special
current events. Our space
lends itself to varied configurations of seating, allowing for services
which emphasise antiphonal singing and recitation, open circles, small
and intimate gatherings to suit different occasions. Worship cannot
happen without people. But
space, lighting, acoustics, and many other elements combine to make an
offering to the Lord of Life which fills the moment with joy, love and
peace.
Our bread for
Holy Communion is sometimes made by our youth.
When they do so you can smell the wonderful aroma of it cooking
as you enter our Holy Space.
